Jeremy Tran

Jeremy is a J.D. candidate at Harvard Law School.  He graduated cum laude from Harvard College in 2009 with an A.B. in Psychology and secondary in Economics, receiving the Endicott Peabody Saltonstall Prize and John Harvard Scholarship.  In college, Jeremy served as Co-President of the Harvard Vietnamese Association and worked at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, New Sector Alliance, and IBM Corporation.  Prior to college, he competed on ABC’s reality television series The Scholar, sharing the Vietnamese refugee story with audiences nationwide.  Jeremy now volunteers at the Harvard Legal Aide Bureau as a Vietnamese translator and is an active member of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.

Kimberly Truong

Kimberly Truong is currently an English grad student at Cal State Fullerton. She plans to attend law school a few years down the road, her passion is currently content editing and teaching. She has been the head editor for a mixed martial arts company based out of Irvine, CA since 2007. On top of this, she is an English instructor teaching advanced English and 19th century American literature to high school juniors at a private academy in Fountain Valley, CA.

Nhi To

Nhi is a third year undergraduate at UC Berkeley with a major in Social Welfare and a minor in Global Poverty and Practice. She immigrated to America at the age of two but continues to think of Vietnam as home. Nhi strives to keep the Vietnamese culture alive by learning more and sharing it with everyone in her community, regardless of background.

Merrill Thien Minh La

Merrill is a 3rd year biochemistry major at the University of California Riverside.  Merrill recently finished an undergraduate research program as an assistant for Drug Delivery using MSM-41, a mesoporous silicon gel and is presently researching the extraction of hydrogen particles from urine as a new source of fuel.  In addition, Merrill holds real estate degree and is pursuing a career in Interventional Radiology.
