Vietnam Talking Points

The Pulse on Vietnam

Calling all writers!

January 10, 2011 by VTP Editor 2 Comments

Got the writer’s itch?

A story that you want to share with the rest of the world?

Need an outlet?

Get in contact!  VTP is looking for more writers.  Whether you want to contribute regularly or just send in the occasional post, give us a nudge at contactus@onevietnam.org and we’ll work things out.  We’re unable to give monetary remuneration at this time, but compensation does come in the form of eternal gratitude and the possibility that someone out there might just stumble upon your postings and offer you a movie deal, à la Julie & Julia. Looking forward to hearing from you!

This could be you, except in color with a netbook and an updated wardrobe.

What/how did your organization compensate the previous writers? Because I wonder why good quality articles slowly diminish along with the writers…

Hi David, none of us are compensated for our work on VTP. Though I believe our volunteer writers have done a great job (our readership has grown to over 20,000 and increasing at 10-20% monthly), we are always open for suggestions on how we can improve. Please feel free to contact me.
