Catch Vincent Trinh on NPR Discussing Janet Liang’s Bone Marrow Drive Tomorrow

February 1, 2012 by VTP Editor 1 Comment

One of our writers, Vincent Trinh, will be discussing his work helping Janet Liang’s bone marrow at 10 am tomorrow on Insight, a program from Sacramento’s local NPR station. Vincent will talk about how he formed a connection to Janet’s cause and decided to organize a bone marrow drive at UC Davis on his own time, despite not knowing Janet personally. Carol Gillepsie, the executive director of the Asian American Donor Program, will also be on the program to discuss bone marrow needs among Asian American leukemia patients. Janet herself will hopefully make an appearance.

We’ll post a link to the audio as it becomes available, but you can also tune in to FM 90.9 if you’re in the Sacramento area and want know more about Janet’s story. You’ll also get to hear what one of the writers who makes this blog possible sounds like!
