Vietnam Approved $1.25 Billion Metro Line in Ho Chi Minh City
According to the Dow Jones Newswires, the Vietnamese government has approved plans to build an underground metro line in Ho Chi Minh City at a cost of $1.247 billion, the Ministry of Transportation said Friday. Vietnam’s gross domestic product expanded 5.8 percent in the third quarter from a year earlier, up from 4.5 percent in the previous three months, according to figures this week from the General Statistics Office in Hanoi.
