Family and friends of missing nursing student Michelle Le, 26, are reaching out for volunteers to assist in search efforts that are taking place this weekend. Michelle was last seen leaving Kaiser Hospital in Hayward, CA, in her white scrubs on May 27th, and her case has since been reclassified as a homicide.
An official website has been created by her family to provide the public with updates on her disappearance. The search party begins at 8AM this Friday and will last through Sunday.
The details are as follows:
WHAT: Search Party
WHERE: Meet up at 25350 Cypress Ave, Hayward, California
WHEN: June 17-19 Fri, Sat, and Sun 8AM – 5PMRequirements for search party volunteers
– Must be 18 years or older
– Must have a valid government ID
– Appropriate clothing: long pants, long sleeved shirt, boots
– Recommended items: small backpack (water and snacks) and a walking stick.Volunteers who cannot meet these requirements are welcome to assist in the command center.
A group of volunteers from the G.I. Joe Search & Rescue Foundation will be heading up early Friday morning from Orange County, CA, so if anyone from the surrounding area would like to join, please contact me via email for more details.
