01.06.10. Have you ever wondered how Vietnam has been doing compared to other nations within the past few years? Many of you probably have, but not many know where to look. That is because you did not hear about Gap Minder.
According to wikipedia.org, Gap Minder Foundation “developed the Trendalyzer software that converts international statistics to moving, interactive, and enjoyable graphics. The aim is to promote a fact-based world view through increased use and understanding of freely accessible public statistics.”
With this tool, you can now freely compare Vietnam with other nations using various data. What are you waiting for? Go wild and discover Vietnam!
To show you an example, I was wondering how did the enrollment of Vietnamese girls in primary and secondary schools compare to the boys as the nation gets richer (increasing income per capita). Gap Minder told me that the ratio of girls to boys enrollment increased from 92% in 1999 to 97% in 2006 as the country GDP per capita grew.

I have the pleasure to brief on our Data Visualization software “Trend Compass”.
TC is a new concept in viewing statistics and trends in an animated way by displaying 5 axis (X, Y, Time, Bubble size & Bubble color) instead of just the traditional X and Y axis. It could be used in analysis, research, presentation etc. In the banking sector, we have Deutsche Bank New York as our client.

I hope you could evaluate it and give me your comments. So many ideas are there.
You can download a trial version. It has a feature to export EXE,PPS,HTML and AVI files. The most impressive is the AVI since you can record Audio/Video for the charts you create.
